Downtown Plymouth is going green this coming weekend with the 5th annual Green Street Fair. The fair promotes global interest and personal well-being, and educates the community about green, organic, and eco-friendly products and services. Oh, and there’s music too, lots of it. The Eco-beats stage features late morning and afternoon performances on May 4th, 5th and 6th, including a Saturday headline performance from the Verve Pipe from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Other notable must-sees include Fort Box, where children cultivate creativity by "growing" a recycled garden in the heart of Kellogg Park; Flip Your Lid, where students from Field Elementary School collect plastic lids to create oversized bird artwork; The Quench Buggy, a mobile water filling station and Green Street Fair Quench Buggy Trailer; and the Bird of Prey Exhibit at the Leslie Science and Nature Center.

Additional musical performers include Robin Horlock, Pato Margetic, The Wallclocks, Abigail Stauffer, the Difficulties, Cold Tone Harvest, The Cacpodz, the Appleseed Collective, the Kids Who Cried Wolf and One Love Reggae Band.
