Summer in metro Detroit is upon us. It conjures in my mind thoughts of warm weather, beautiful skies and the blue waters of the Detroit River lapping against the shore of Belle Isle. As much as it’s awesome to spend the entire summer lounging around, we know you’re also going to want to get out and see all that metro Detroit’s summer events and festivals have to offer. Everyone tells me to enjoy my kids while they’re young. Some days that’s easier than others. But I know they’re right.
