4 Reasons You Should Download the 2017 D Discount Pass
Here are four reasons you should download the 2017 D Discount Pass, which will help cut the costs at 15 must-see metro Detroit attractions:
- Downloading is easy. And free.
Yes, I said free! Go to visitdetroit.com/discount and complete the entry form on the right. You can either print the D Discount Pass or have it emailed or texted to you. Then what? Show the special D Discount Pass barcode at each participating attraction and save now until Dec. 31. It's that simple.
- New attractions have been added.
Whether or not you had last year's pass, you will be pleased with the new additions including 20 percent off up to four general admission tickets to The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield, 20 percent off admission at the Automotive Hall of Fame, 20 percent off general museum admission at the Detroit Institute of Arts, 20 percent off United Shore Professional Baseball League game grandstand seats and half off a two-hour rental (Monday through Thursday) at Wheelhouse Detroit.
- Discounts apply at family-friendly locations.
Looking for something fun to do with the kids? Would zip lines, baseball, biking, underwater creatures, snowmobile and kayak simulators, rocket ships, inventing and testing Lego Racers and/or Model T rides appeal to them? In addition to the aforementioned discounts to The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield, United Shore Professional Baseball League games and Wheelhouse Detroit, the 2017 D Discount Pass also includes 20 percent off up to six admissions into the Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, up to six buy-one-get-one-free admissions into the Outdoor Adventure Center, 20 percent off Michigan Science Center admission, up to six 20 percent off admission tickets to Legoland Discovery Center Michigan and 20 percent off admission to the museum or Greenfield Village at The Henry Ford.
- Discounts even apply at nationally-known attractions.
Detroit is best known for cars and Motown; however, those aren't all the city has provided the world. Arab American National Museum, Automotive Hall of Fame, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, Meadow Brook and Motown Museum are destinations people from all over come to metro Detroit to visit. Not only are these well-known attractions local, but with the 2017 D Discount Pass, you can visit them at cheap(er) rates. For individual attraction savings, check out visitdetroit.com/discount.
